Accommodation and public transit
It is time to book your accommodation! Due to the cultural capital of Europe, the demand for accommodation in Tartu is very high this summer.
Tartu offers a broad range of accommodation options, most of which are within easy walking distance of the conference venue and the historical city centre.
We have a selection of rooms with the special agreed rate for participants of the Mobile Tartu Conference 2024. Participants are expected to book their accommodation individually by contacting the providers directly. Please state the booking code “MOBILETARTU” to get the discounted price contacting directly by e-mail. Please note that the special rates are only available if booked directly with the hotel and not through external Internet booking systems.
We recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible. You are also free to find and book your accommodation independently. Rooms are pre-booked up until May 1.
Public transit in Tartu
Thanks to the support of the Tartu City Government, Mobile Tartu Conference guests can use public transit in Tartu for free, including the bike-share system. The conference card must be with you to be eligible for free transport. Conference cards will be handed out at the registration desk at the venue. The bike-share system consists of approximately 100 docking stations all over Tartu. We will provide information on using the app to access the bike-share system.
